I have a photo you may be interested in for your website. It is of my grandmother, Margaret Ann Haines Healy, daughter of Chauncey William Haines and Vashti Leona Monger Haines. My grandmother attended grade school in Beech Bottom and the photo is of her in a cheerleader’s outfit for the school. The family resided in Power, where Chauncey worked for and played baseball for the power plant. I think Vashti was the postmistress at one time. My grandmother graduated from Wellsburg High School with the class of 1947, which should give you a point of reference for when the Beech Bottom photo was taken.
